Hi Sandy Knoll families! We have MAPS teachers engaging in Professional Learning in August called Advantage Math Recovery. We are reaching out to request student volunteers to support our teachers in a Math Recovery Assessment practice session. This is a valuable opportunity for our teachers to refine their assessment strategies and ensure that our students receive the best possible learning experience. This is beneficial for both our teachers and students.
We are looking for 5-8 students who will be starting 1st or 2nd grade in the fall to participate in this practice. The session will take place on August 12th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Seaborg Center on NMU's campus.
If you are interested in having your child participate, please click on the link and fill out the form. If you have any questions, please call Renee @ 906-227-2196.

Mr. Morrison and his 3rd Graders helped the Superior Watershed Partnership plant trees around Sandy Knoll! We thank the Watershed Partnership for the donation of trees!

After a long few days, 75 Sandy Knoll 4th and 5th graders finally got to participate in the elementary track meet. This meet is a lot of work. Ms. Sabin not only coaches the SK team, with the help of Mrs. Maxon, but also is the lead coordinator of the whole meet. A special thanks to everyone that helped out at practice and the meet and way to go athletes! You all were amazing! 🏆🎉👏💪🏽🏃♀️🏃♂️

Thank you Mrs. Britton and Mrs. Borowski for everything you do for our students and staff! We are so lucky to have you here at Sandy Knoll!

Last week, Mrs. Swanson's class at Sandy Knoll presented the SEL skits that the students wrote. The skits consisted of topics that included spinning worry, courage, frustration, and flexible thinking. If you made it to our SEL night you may have had the pleasure to see them for yourself! They were too good not to share with all the students at SK. Way to go 5th graders!
