Stuff to Know
The BMS Penny Wars will be happening June 2nd-June 9th. Each teacher has their own coin jug for collecting money located in the gym lobby. Add points to your jug by adding pennies and dollar bills. Subtract points from other grades by adding silver coins to their jug. The Advisory with the most positive points in each grade wins a spot in the end of year dodgeball tournament! All funds raised will go towards the BMS student activities fund.
Attention all PE students: PE lockers must be completely cleaned out by Tuesday, June 10th. Anything left after June 10th will be donated to Goodwill.
Breakfast will not be served to students at Bothwell on Thursday, June 12th.
Attention Students: Please be advised that we will begin to collect Chromebooks and Chromebook Chargers at the end of this week. Remember, you are responsible for any repairs and any missing chargers.
The Bothwell Parent Organization would like to congratulate students and staff on a great year by providing lunch for BMS Activity Day on Wednesday, June 11th. Lunch will be two slices of Main Street pizza and a bag of chips, please plan to bring your own beverage. Students will also be able to pick a frozen treat from Willy Nilly's Ice Cream Truck. Available Options are: ice cream sandwich, bomb pop, fudgesicle, creamsicle and fruit pops.
The Marquette Senior High School Tennis Team is hosting a 3-day camp on June 16, 17 & 20th for students heading into 6-9th grades. The program is available for all ability levels and the cost is $30. 7th and 8th grade girls' voluntary basketball open gyms will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 - 7:00 pm in the Bothwell Middle School gym starting June 16th and ending July 30th (no open gym from June 30th to July 6th). 7th and 8th grade boys' voluntary basketball open gyms will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00-7:00 pm starting June 17th and ending July 31st (no open gym from June 30th - July 6th).
Boys and girls interested in a voluntary summer running program can join on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:30-6:00 pm beginning June 16th through July 31st. Runners will meet at BMS on the first day but may run at various locations throughout the summer, with updates provided by the running advisor. (No voluntary running program from June 30th to July 6th).
The Northern Michigan Men's Basketball Skills Camp will be held June 23-26. Cost is $125 per camper sign up at nmu.universitytickets.com. Questions? Contact Coach Gantz at kgantz@nmu.edu.
